Rob McGowan Biography

Rob McGowan has been with Edit for over 10 years, working as a strategic consultant before being appointed as joint Managing Director in June 2020.

After studying human geography at university, Rob initially worked in market research, before joining the pioneering data science and analytics agency, dunnhumby, After initially training as an analyst, Rob moved into the consultancy, finding the most satisfaction in translating the output of analytics into actionable, measurable projects.

As a trained data scientist Rob brings an appreciation of the people and processes behind successful data transformation projects to the role alongside a pragmatic awareness of the data challenges big businesses face.

Rob was instrumental in repositioning the Edit business in 2020, reshaping the company through the Covid crisis to best serve the needs of modern customer-centric organisations.
